The Chestnuts is For Sale
It is with much regret that we have listed The Chestnuts on the property market after nearly 16 years in our custody. If it were not for failing health, and the soon to be only 2 instead of 4 humans in residence, then we could both foresee living out our days here. Amongst many things we will miss watching the sunrises from the bedroom windows and the sound of the buzzards soaring high above. The plan for the horses is to move in with a friend in Whixall so at least we will still get to ride the Whixall lanes but it will be hard to match the equestrian set up for ease of use anywhere else as everything we have put in has worked beyond our hopes, with unplanned bonuses thrown in. Hopefully I will only have a 10 minute commute to them from where we hope to find something that will be within walking distance of the necessities needed. Oh well, I guess the only constant in life is change. We will remain eternally grateful for the chance to spend so many happy years here. I'm sure there will be many positives although I find it hard to see them when I walk outside of my back door. Thank you to everyone who has visited and shared the experience in even the smallest way. Those memories will go with us.
